WHAT IS JEUVEAU?

INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE YOUR JEUVEAU TREATMENT
2-3 WEEKS BEFORE:
Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to a special event you’re attending such as a wedding or vacation. Results start to appear approximately 3-5 days after treatment with the full effects in place after 14 days.
If this is your very first treatment, you may also want to allow time for a touch-up if necessary.
Bruising and swelling can wax and wane and will be most present during this time if this occurs.
1 WEEK BEFORE:
Avoid supplements such as Fish Oil/Omega 3, Ginko, St. Johns Wort, and anti-inflammatories of any kind to limit bruising.
72 HOURS BEFORE:
Cease blood thinners - NSAIDs, Aspirin, etc. (*Unless medically necessary and/or Dr. prescribed)
Cease retinol or other active ingredient products
Start oral Arnica - Arnica is an herbal homeopathic supplement that has been shown to decrease bruising and bleeding. This may increase your healing time if you are prone to these side effects.
24 HOURS BEFORE:
Avoid alcohol intake of any kind to limit bruising.
If you become ill, develop a rash or cold sore please call and reschedule.
DAY OF:
Come in with a clean face - your make-up WILL be wiped off.
Make sure you eat prior to your appointment to ensure good blood sugar.
If you frequently exercise, complete your routine prior to your appointment.
Allow for the full 30 minutes to be treated. This gives time to complete consents, perform assessments, answer questions and perform the treatment.
AFTER YOUR JEUVEAU TREATMENT
DAY OF:
Stay upright for 4 hours - This includes holding your head downward (ie. looking at a screen on your lap)
Do not rub or touch the treated area. - You are ok to wash your face that evening.
Do not apply make-up for at least 4 hours.
Avoid using irritating products such as Retinols, glycolic, or other active ingredient skincare.
Avoid working out, or other activities that involve heavy lifting or sweating for 24 hours. This will ensure you do not inadvertently sweat out any of the product.
Continue Arnica to prevent bruising.
24 HOURS AFTER:
Bruising may appear in the injected areas. This is normal and will subside within a few days to a week.
Arica may be continued to speed up healing time. It is recommended to take Arnica till bruising clears.
On occasion, it is not uncommon to develop a headache post-injection. This is more typical with first-time clients and can be treated with your usual headache regimen.
REMINDERS:
A follow-up visit at 14 days is suggested to assess results for efficacy and subsequent treatments, particularly if you are a first-time client.
Full correction is not guaranteed with the first treatment. If it is not achieved, a touch-up may be necessary and is at the client’s cost.
It is recommended to return every 3-4 months for optimal results.
Although rare, infection in the injected area is possible. Signs of infection may include redness and tenderness in the infected area and fever. Should you develop an infection, antibiotics may be necessary.
